Percy Jackson

If you have seen the movie and haven't read the books or haven't done either then I would recomend reading the books. You will find the books far more entertaining than the movie by a long shot. In the movie there is the same object of recovering Zues's Lightning Bolt and returning it to Zues before the summer ends. The movie is exiting enough but they don't make it as real as the books make it so it's not nearly as captivating as Riordan makes it. They pretty much completely altered the story line and that was a big part of the downfall of the production. The story isn't nearly as interesting and real. Riordan makes it so real that I learned more about Greek mythology than I did in a whole school year. Mabey not a whole school year but a good part of it anyway. I hope you read the books and find that they are 10 times as good as the movie.

The Lord of the Rings

The Lord of the Ring's are great movies aren't they. It's one my favorite things to watch. I love to watch the actors do there stuff and make it seem so real. It is amazing to watch the great battle scenes and exiting adventures. To the right you see Ian Mckellen who plays the part of Gandalf. I think he does a wonderful job and is a great actor. Have you ever heard of the computer game, Lord of the Rings Conquest? If you haven't I think it is a great game to own and play. It has a campaign which is pretty hard to beet if you aren't used to the game. it also has a freeplay mode which will help you get used to the game and become capable of completing the game. The game comes with a booklet that gives you all the information you will need to install and play the game. On my computer an icon didn't come up for it but you just put the disc in and it works perfectly.
